Mysore-style yoga is a traditional, self-paced way of learning Ashtanga yoga that’s especially supportive for beginners. Rather than following along to a led class, you’ll move through a simple sequence of postures at your own rhythm, one breath at a time, with guidance from a teacher who offers individualized support.
When you’re new, you’ll be given a short, manageable sequence to learn step by step. As you become more comfortable, the practice gradually builds—always at a pace that suits you. There’s no pressure to keep up or perform. Rest is encouraged, questions are welcome, and each practice is shaped around where you are that day.
The room is quiet and focused, but not rigid—everyone is practicing together, each in their own way. It’s a space to develop consistency, confidence, and a deeper connection to your breath and body.
Mysore is less about getting it “right” and more about learning how to practice—something that evolves with you over time.
